NASSAU COUNTY CRAFT SHOWS

VENDOR RULES

Vendor set up starts 6pm-7:30pm Friday nights and resumes 6am Saturday morning.

Space is assigned on a first come basis.

You are welcome to bring your own tables, canopy, etc.
These items are not provided by show management
All tables must be covered with a quality material that reaches the floor on all four sides.
Table covers are available from show management for $30 each while supplies last.
   
Terms and Conditions
1. If a dispute occurs I will not get into a confrontation or argument with anyone. I will immediately let management or security know about the problem.
2. I will keep my space clean during each show and will leave my area as clean as it was when I arrived.
3. I accept responsibility for cleaning up any items that are not mine that come into my space during the day.
4. I will prevent all paper, plastic, cardboard, and all miscellaneous matter from leaving my space, and will immediately retrieve any items that have left my space.
5. I will provide my own garbage bags and containers to remove all of my debris, cardboard, fixtures, food, beverage, and miscellaneous matter from the show grounds.
6. I will not use the show’s garbage cans to dispose of any of my items.
7. I will take my items and garbage with me when I leave the parking lot and dispose of them elsewhere.
8. For public safety reasons, when I arrive and during advertised hours I will not move my vehicle to or from my selling area unless I have permission from management.
9. I will not possess, consume or offer for sale any alcoholics, pornographic materials, counterfeit or illegal items while on show grounds.
10. I understand accept that I must firmly secure my canopies, frames, fixtures, display items, and other objects with heavily weighted materials such as sandbags, cement buckets or bungee cords. I understand and accept that I must take whatever other precautions are necessary in order to prevent wind-blown items from causing personal injury to shoppers or vendors, and that I may be immediately and permanently barred from further participation as a vendor if I fail to comply.
11. I understand and accept that if I choose to do so, I am responsible for obtaining my own liability insurance coverage for my personal items, and that any items I leave at my space overnight are not the responsibility of Nassau County Craft Shows or The Nassau County Department of Parks & Recreation.
HOLD HARMLESS DISCLAIMER Whereas "Vendor" is and will be leasing certain space from Nassau County Craft Shows (NCCS) pursuant to an agreement for a Craft Show, Vendor and NCCS agree: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vendor agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless NCCS, The Nassau County Department of Parks & Recreation, and all of the above entities employees, associates, and/or Managing Agent(s) from any and all claims, suits, damages, liabilities, professional fees, including attorneys' fees, costs, court costs, expenses and disbursements related to death, personal injuries or property damage (including loss of use thereof) arising out of or in connection with the performance of the work of the Vendor, its agents, servants, Vendors or employees, or  the use by Vendor, its agents, servants, Vendors or employees of facilities provided by the entities listed above. This agreement to indemnify specifically contemplates full indemnity in the event of liability imposed against all of the entities listed above and/or Managing Agent(s) without negligence and solely by reason of statute, operation of law or otherwise, and partial indemnity in the event of any actual negligence on the part of the entities listed above either causing or contributing to the underlying claim. In that event, indemnification will be limited to any liability imposed over and above that percentage attributable to actual fault, whether by statue, by operation of law or otherwise.
I have read the contract and agree to abide by said rules.
In addition, I expressly release Nassau County Craft Shows, The Nassau County Department of Parks & Recreation, and the owners of the event site from any damage, injury or loss to any person or goods which may arise from the rental and occupations of said space or the participation in this show by the exhibitor.
I also agree to hold the producer and owners of the event site harmless of any loss, injury or damage by reason thereof.
I further agree that no employment is created by this contract.
I understand that if this application is not accepted rental fees will be voided and returned by mail.
If this application is accepted, I give permission to use any materials
submitted for publicity purposes.
Application to this show constitutes exhibitor agreement of this release.
